(WAPA) – Already since April 4 there could be new strikes among the staff of the air carrier British Airways (BA), in fact, more than 9,800 employees were called to vote to support the agitation against a series of cuts and reorganization undertaken by management. The results will be available Monday.

The Bassa (British Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association) is expecting a substantial support for this initiative, which, if it is carried out may also include the support of the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), whose general secretary David Cockroft, has already asked support to the cause, to the 275 members coming from all over the world.

British Airways for its part reassures passengers that if the strike will take, the inconvenience will be limited by the well-established emergency plans of the company. (Avionews)
