Thai budget airline gets go-ahead for international flights (travelmole.com)

Low-cost carrier Thai AirAsia X has received an Air Operator’s Certificate meaning it can now apply for permission to launch international flights from Bangkok.
The airline will lease two Airbus A330-300s from a subsidiary of its parent company, the AirAsia group, for its first year.
