“I support your cause, Qatar Airways workers need trade union rights”.

That’s from #NobelPeacePrize winner Houcine Abassi who stopped to give his support to protesting Qatar Airways cabin crew at the prize ceremony.

Mr Abassi is secretary general of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT, Union Générale Tunisienne du Travail), which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for its part in founding Tunisia’s new democracy.
