Fair Work Commission rejects Aerocare worker agreement, union calls out ‘poverty-line wages’ (abc.net.au)

The Fair Work Commission has rejected airline service provider Aerocare’s enterprise agreement as unfair and unsatisfactory for its workers.
Aerocare provides safety checks and ground handling services to airlines such as Qantas, Jetstar, Singapore airlines and Virgin.
In March, the ABC revealed Aerocare staff on low pay and working split shifts, were sleeping at work beside baggage carousels, in conditions described by workers as “third world”.
