- Air India’s privatisation is unlikely to proceed in 2021.
- Indian low-cost carriers IndiGo and SpriceJet are expected to have a combined loss of $1.25-$1.5 billion in 2020 and Q1 of 2021.
- It is estimated that the Indian aviation sector will lose about $3-3.6 billion from April-June.
