To keep our affiliates updated, we will be posting daily Covid-19 situation reports on our blog. These reports will focus on the effect the virus is having on the aviation industry, and specifically on aviation workers. These reports are a compilation of publically available information provided to us by our affiliates and media outlets.

- Westjet has suspended all international fights.
- CUPE (the union representing cabin crew in Canada) expects more than 50% of its members in Westjet will be laid off.
- Air Canada expects a reduction of operations of up to 50% between April-June.

- Low-Cost Carrier Buzz (part of the Ryanair group) is forcing its workers to take a reduction of hours without any consultation. This is being done through a mandatory and binding amendments to their contracts.

- As of March 17, Turkey has suspended all flights to and from Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Italy, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kosovo, Ukraine, Georgia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Morocco.

- Emirates has suspended flights to Italy, Poland and the USA.
- Etihad has suspended flights to mainland China, Italy, Spain and Morocco.
