Australian regulator approves Qantas-AA joint business agreement

The Australian Consumer and Competition Commission (ACCC) has issued draft approval for the Joint Business Agreement between Qantas and American Airlines for Pacific routes between the US and Australia/New Zealand and the networks that support those routes, according to Air Transport World.

The ACCC said that the applicants propose “to coordinate all business operations, including flying operations, pricing and revenue management, scheduling, cargo, passenger sales and marketing, airport services and frequent flyer programs.”
