A new resource for unions to fight TiSA

The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) released a new report entitled, “All about TiSA: Everything you didn’t know about the Trade in Services Agreement”.

Several Global Union Federations, including the ITF, provided a critical analysis of TiSA in relation to their own industries. The part on air transport was prepared by our Section.

The report is available in four languages: English, German, Spanish and French. ITUC also prepared a leaflet on TiSA in those four languages as well:

We call on all our affiliates to use these materials for enhancing their knowledge on TiSA as well as to train and mobilise their members against it.

In the Trade in Services Agreement (TISA) 23 governments are involved as well as the EU and it covers a very broad range of services including energy, health, education, financial services, e-commerce, postal and transport.
