The ITF is calling on aviation affiliates worldwide to support ITF-affiliated Pakistan Airline Pilots’ Association (PALPA) in dispute with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) over safety measures. The latest move by PIA involves the dismissal of Captain Sohail Ahmad and Captain Nadeem Chaudhry, two senior pilots and union officers, employed by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). According to PALPA the pilots were dismissed without regard for due process or the principles of natural justice.
