(Reuters) – The European Union has a right to impose legislation to cut emissions from aviation and showing weakness would encourage further challenges to EU policies, the EU’s climate chief told airlines on Monday.
The National Mediation Board said Wednesday it will conduct a full-blown investigation into allegations by a flight attendants union that Delta Air Lines Inc. interfered in last year’s fractious organizing drive at the world’s second-largest airline by traffic. (The Wall Street Journal – USA)
The airport announced on Wednesday that it would replace Aviapartner with Swissport for baggage and freight handling, and loading and unloading of aircraft from November 1, prompting Aviapartner staff to strike (Reuters).
