The trade union Impact, which represents the cabin crew, said this morning said that current industrial action is to be suspended and that the company will restore its members to the payroll and normal duties, pending the outcome of a binding arbitration to be carried out by the Labour Relations Commission. IMPACT trade union has today (Thursday) submitted 28 discrimination claims to the Director of the Equality Tribunal on behalf of cabin crew who have been removed from duties and payroll by Aer Lingus management.
