Ryanair against right to strike

March 30, 2018

Ryanair workers organised by our ITF/ETF affiliated organisations are being called to replace striking workers in Portugal.

The ITF/ETF fundamentally questions Ryanair’s attempt to replace striking workers.

The deployment of workers to break a strike constitutes a serious attack on the freedom of association, a freedom that is protected under international law.

Ryanair should instead, as it has previously committed to, reach agreement on trade union and collective bargaining rights.

I also suggest that Ryanair and other low cost airlines publish thei FTL table unless it conforms with Easa Regulations. Easa regulations makes no sense and they induce fatigue.
